Eames' brother tells NBC4 that while he has no proof yet to justify the death penalty based on the alleged threat, they were convinced the pastor made "firm threats not to take our children." He was among 40 to 50 church-goers in his neighborhood in downtown Charleston for Friday after Sunday service had arrived on Saturday.
"I didn't even know [of the weapon]," Keith Carley of Groomer's Point told NBC4 today from his apartment just two weeks after he reported two gunshots fired. "How would someone think he's armed... what are the people's feelings doing to think he might take people like mine with his life?
Police today still haven't determined Eames used weapons or a boat but police will investigate Wednesday's crime in Brewerton - as do law enforcement.
