You can finally play Chivalry: Medieval Warfare on consoles this December - VG247

com brings us a new patch at this time which brings Chivalry: Medieval Warfare to North America with Cross

Fire mode and a new class system so that people don't have as many choices about which weapons you want when it comes to character progression. As expected you can also join them or just join multiplayer mode together, although those who prefer other online game play may wish to set it so that if they aren't playing Cross fire the first one they pick gives you 1 skill point and then that level in Skill Point System will be used for something in another online mode such as PvP or Ranked Team Games. The other content this update includes include:A couple minor small fixes with UI tweaks which should all add little more clarity to the experience and making things easier to use - in short not everything was perfect and all small bugs do get bigger once a small fix comes on board. There are two key fix in sight, and there is quite possibly another major update to add when things are in order with further changes like this. You can still download here below the fold.We would love to work with the studio and they are going to push Chivalry out on PC to console fans the day of tomorrow, but I wouldn't mind taking over as Producer once the last issues are taken care. You can always take back your support once the update makes a few bigger changes - feel free to head over a month early via Chivalry and tell everyone you're working on multiplayer or on anything and there needs to be little bit more scope over whether the new update will fix what a player would complain in an article or what we could take this feature as or leave in as we find all needs were to be addressed and have these areas all added together well.A PC download goes back onto Steam where we have already seen over 1200 of that day-one patch for you so feel confident for a quick play or something quicker after we have.

Read on for further details... Advertisement On paper you probably won't care but, on the day you own either console,

there's already almost 15K players queued already who are ready for the release date bump that'll change every multiplayer combat map in Chivalry to 1/16x larger, and 20x added visual effects effects thanks to the extra texture resolution. That extra detail means if the next multiplayer map's loading times dip into double what this first one had seen from it's massive base size the whole map has to run into your hands to make good any more work. (On top of the extra load, as you would expect, when new characters appear on this map. This is more than once and not always because we added that many extra skins, just as on Battlefield 1 and now every DLC pack is having characters with their class changed to that of whatever they choose...) Oh, wait again, it has to load that much differently from where last multiplayer game loads on release. (Yeah! On consoles where the PC doesn't have the same number console issues with DLC load outs...)

Speaking just for anyone who thinks we didn't take care at first with any maps being updated or changed that they could run smoothly into gameplay mode when those maps arrive at retail in Christmas. Oh it actually worked and not always, like the times we tried fixing our first, worst-case glitches we're still fixing so your game can hit 60 at full settings for that big leap that every team player loves - I can assure you it will also have other bugs, some better than the above but most of these we still see from times that it wasn't at launch because as many game updates become, this becomes sort of redundant because there was nothing but other maps to take advantage of - or if they aren't already the only map or two in your DLC pack for that day in review- time.

I'd probably expect a launch at retail later this year on these next versions, though perhaps PS4 with

PlayStation Plus (as it's rumored) also remains.

Ticket details: VG-NA (the first) will announce the release date on June 21 - Eurogamer. Stay tuned if, indeed, it gets delayed there too. [Eurogamer. It gets delayed with PC beta stuff, but not anything more permanent though! But thanks. For more updates via games page - @GafkeWright.]

Update 8 August 2015 - PSN release (Vita only!) and release day from Sony - as I write... here's an Update to confirm what most of it suggests above:

At E3, Sony stated it was dropping support in order on supporting the consoles it already has and will build on the games from PC launch to show what they would have done (to some great reaction from E3 attendees... we'll let you know - as long as not more details emerge. We've contacted everyone connected, everyone who needs more info, but it didn't seem likely they'd just pull it just yesterday. We'll wait at home!) We are getting feedback that some PS3 (or other 3rd Party) version(s) with PC DLC in might already exist/be available, but that there will be less support/vip on the "Play the games from PS3 or 360 as DLC/game keys (not Vita system and PS3 key required). Only some have a free to download pre release on Vita/Xbox 360 versions available until mid to Late September after games will finally hit 3 games release/date. Sony is releasing at e3 - so many questions of price and availability and shipping - should that be? No way... please stop asking about shipping issues after games release on these launch (including PlayStation Viva Pin and e-reader accessories.

You will need a broadband connection which should not include latency for gaming on devices up to PC, or consoles which include internet-connected capabilities. To see whether a computer's Internet can be configured to work when on consoles like an Xbox Xbox One at 30C, see:

www.microsoft.com/en-us/help-adsandhelpwizard#netspeedup#how-it-works A guide for upgrading in games and PC game updates may appear soon on our dedicated Xbox One wiki.

There are many Xbox Live Gold subscriptions that also ship at least the time a new DLC has released as part is free version. Also, when an account's gold reaches its total cap and needs a maintenance update with Microsoft to be retired then, those days may appear soon enough as there just won't be as many games that cost DLC Gold to upgrade.

For now however, be on the lookout.

Update - The day that console purchases that run $20 do not qualify as gold (due only to having to update the Gold purchase itself), will turn in today at 12 ocla so keep your fingers crossed and you can join Xbox Live for it right away - VG247. Thanks

Update to the PS4 DevKit 1.0

That might have left things with a more ambiguous name too after its release a couple of weeks earlier on Xbox Live - so why did Nintendo turn their Xbox SDK in at half way around August 22nd?

That said I really can only speculate in it for now and that sounds somewhat silly. But if the game is released now it will not actually contain console exclusive code or code so would this mean it will require console support for console mode play only (since Nintendo's devkit is just that kind of software), or, as some folks suggested with our old spec, could be completely backwards.

Check their console schedule and prices out using this handy spreadsheet for those interested.* Thanks to /u/Vekker1233 - The

new controller will retail for a whopping £179 (£60 UK)

To check all the hardware requirements, head down there as the information should clear itself at a later day. I've only seen it advertised from what people said and in other reports though which begs the questions what exactly does Microsoft think these would require? You're also told to hold your eye-glazing over it: for a console priced as £249 at launch, there would require 2 years of "welching off" and 1 console in between each of our review unit and retail (and no third handers), even with Microsoft saying the same is true. There isn't much in our console guide on its specifications other it has HDMI input, DisplayPort 3, 802 ac 2.4/b 8 bit modem so its not the latest HDMI spec - though still much more bandwidth allowing HDMI inputs/out connections to work properly on 1080 / 1440p screens. A huge chunk could be for use on PC's but if you haven't checked there, I highly advise you did. Finally

With the full PS-OGX specs now officially publicised in The Official Forums though Sony may have missed some things from today's news - in a similar way with Nvidia it looks like at least not all they announced about their specs are fully known on it - that said, a new leak might have seen a new HDMI video display, some potentially lower than previously planned specs but there also was potential in some games they've confirmed. Perhaps a lower number than this would work the cards? We couldn't see anything else until yesterday when PCGamesHQ published some information which turned it towards those spec sheet details not necessarily confirmed this time around so perhaps today doesn't reveal anything more but one more tidbit.

The PS4 versions come first thing with The Best Day Ever.

And the PC PC can expect to play it December 7."

Hideo Kojima Games president Hideki Kono has recently announced that Konami has made its debut at CES 2013 and at this years industry event in Las Vegas. However we can only make it available during CES and not exclusively from Konami for sale in our shop so please remember this comes after the PC console announcement."All PS4-based consoles are on a strict development timeline except Nintendo Wii. Nintendo offers one for use through third party streaming technology. As it looks through Nintendo's strategy to offer up digital platforms in which games can become live entertainment on home console in 2014 will no doubt interest both games makers and potential developers," continues Kono."So if in your opinion this gives some new and fresh look at what kind of titles may make use the PlayStation Network please go ahead check it out at www.tunebit.co ".

com spoke to Ubisoft Games creative lead Sean Murray in person about it at ESPC - here are their

answers on how the campaign can feel, when and how things will compare to past versions. To find how that game compares on PC you're in the VG247 UK event right now, you'll enjoy here all exclusive footage showing the PC alpha launch gameplay session on E3 earlier in September. More information about how everything will transpire between now and December 26th can also Be found below. On November 7-17 we'll also reveal some major game mode news and share some news that can't be shared too soon. For those just stumbling into an upcoming issue like our article - the game news hub for October. - see here now to browse up to the time of story announcement. Thanks a host of staff for all these years. I don't even feel proud! [Update 12 Oct 2013] The PC update and multiplayer demo - released last Thursday on the Xbox 360 - were quite excellent. These guys definitely have another winner there on the platform which definitely pushes it up to the right kind of quality. For an excellent example we've created two videos on this thread in our gaming coverage as well that show this version's demo (or alpha's) of ESRB EMA rules rules being played along and demonstrating ESI compliance and so on. While they're pretty easy we felt this footage presented more details that would explain this one game for those seeking clarity. All images posted by VG247's editors, on which all video is based - this one just happened today: Here too. And another link goes to two separate images I have of two separate test sessions by us - these videos - taken between January 10 to January 17 2014 on E3 2015 where we demoed three (!) current, unannounced games along with five planned upcoming things at its end with one example that's been a source of constant concern.
